Order and Delivery

How to Place an Order
Ordering from Reef Exclusive is easy. Just make sure you’re using a valid, active email address — that’s how we’ll send your order confirmation and delivery updates.
Add all the corals or products you want to your cart, follow the steps at checkout, and don’t forget to review our DOA Guarantee and select your preferred delivery date.

Before choosing a delivery date, check your local weather, personal schedule, and any potential risks. If you’d like to move your delivery to another available day, just let us know ahead of time — we’ll do our best to accommodate you within the Shipping Calendar.

Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll get an automatic confirmation email.
If you notice anything wrong, email us right away at reefexclusive@gmail.com.

Check your Spam folder, and if it’s not there, either email us again or send a text to 310-901-3710 — we’re here to help.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, plus PayPal, PayPal Later, Venmo, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, and more.

Shipping & Notifications
As soon as we create a shipping label for your coral order, you’ll get a tracking number and email notification.
We pack and ship live items between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM EST to make sure your corals spend as little time in transit as possible.

Important note: We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands, and we do not ship live animals internationally.
We ship only within the contiguous U.S.

To ensure your corals arrive healthy and fast, we ship live orders only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We don’t ship live animals on Thursdays, Fridays, weekends, or holidays — this helps avoid delays and protects your livestock.

If you have any special delivery instructions, just leave us a note during checkout.

Product Info
If you’re ordering a WYSIWYG item (What You See Is What You Get), you’ll receive that exact coral.
Just remember: lighting makes a big difference. What you see on your screen might look a bit different in your tank depending on your setup.

Shipping Delays
Sometimes weather, new arrivals, or other conditions may delay shipping or product availability.

We may delay shipping if we feel your coral isn’t looking its best that day.
If that happens, we’ll let you know right away. Be sure to check your email the evening before your scheduled delivery date.

And please — check your local weather before placing your order, especially for live items.
We do our best to monitor conditions, but we may not always catch regional UPS delays — you might know your local situation better than we do.

Cancelling Live Orders
Need to cancel? You can do so as long as we haven’t started preparing your order for shipment.
Please note: there’s a 20% restocking fee for live goods.

Once we’ve pulled and held your livestock, the order is considered “in process.”
To cancel, send us an email or text us at 310-901-3710 — we’ll let you know if cancellation is still possible.
